How I Snagged 163 College Credits for $39 – Zero Debt, Zero Classrooms, All Results

Best part? During the pandemic, Sophia Learning courses were completely free, and I took all my CLEP exams for free through Modern States.org. In all, I paid only $39! That works out to roughly 24 cents per credit for 163 legitimate college credits — all ACE-recommended and officially accepted on my Excelsior University transcript.

No student loans. No commuting. No 18-year-old dorm drama. Just me, my laptop, and a laser-focused plan that treated every credit like a high-ROI investment.

Why I Did It (The Millionaire Mindset)

Traditional college was pricing itself out of reality even before the pandemic. I wasn’t going back to sit in lectures or drop $20k+ a year for stuff I could learn faster on my own.

My 32-Day Sophia Sprint + CLEP Sprint Strategy (The Real Hack)

I treated both sprints like a full-time job with these rules:

1. Batch similar subjects – for example, knock out all the history courses back-to-back.
2. Use the built-in tutorials + practice tests – Sophia’s platform is ridiculously efficient.
3. Test out fast – once I knew enough of the material, I took the exams immediately.
4. Stack CLEP right after – Sophia gave me the foundation; then I crushed the CLEP sprint in late October–November 2021.
5. No perfectionism – 70% still gets you the credits. Move on.
6. Stack the freebies – once I had momentum, I added the zero-cost TEEX courses and the $39 SeeMore class.

Result? Massive credit blocks in record time while most people were just trying to figure out their remote-learning options.

What This Experiment Taught Me (Millionaire Lessons)

• College credits can be earned faster than you think. I walked away with real college credits in business, finance, foreign languages, history, psych, and cybersecurity.
• Traditional college is optional. You can rack up 160+ credits for pennies (or literally zero dollars on the TEEX bundle) and transfer them to a school like Excelsior or UMPI.edu.
• Discipline beats IQ. Showing up every day and grinding is what separates the talkers from the credit-earners.
